Heather Turnbull of PAVE Prevention (Proactive Anti-Violence Education) examines the current landscape of problem behaviours in Canadian libraries and the United States. She offers effective practices for mitigating disruptive or threatening incidents in libraries. Emphasis is placed on an innovative, trauma-informed approach to prevention that measurably improves staff resiliency for physical, emotional and psychological safety.
